Cashcrate is a PTO program (paid to complete offers).
How it works:
"Companies need consumers to try and review products, services, and websites and are willing to pay money to have them do so. Most of the time you're asked to do this without any compensation, what we do is take the money companies give us for YOUR participation, and give you back up to 75% of it!"
This means completing offers such as a short survey or signing up for a competition. These normally involve filling out a form and giving away your email address. In some offers more information is asked of you, e.g. phone number, address or even your credit card number. It would not be wise to give these away for a few dollars (although members are assured their details are safe) so if you don't feel comfortable with an offer don't complete it.
There are considerably more offers to complete if you live in the USA or Canada. Some offers are available to other countries but not as many.
Referral scheme:
Cashcrate has a referral program where you earn 20% of your direct referrals earnings and 10% of what their referrals make. This is the main method of earning with Cashcrate if you live outside the USA or Canada.
My advice:
It’s not worth signing up unless you live in the USA or Canada and/or are prepared to actively get referrals. Also, create a new email account with Yahoo or Hotmail, which are free and easy to set up. You can then give this email address when completing offers.

Sorry, off topic but I'm following up on your post to the Making Money on the Web Post:
I was looking at the Technorati Forums, and was working on a post celebrating my 633rd Day without being crawled by them.
I found a forum post of other people complaining that they haven't been crawled either. I posted this, and intended to list all of their blogs and the amount of time since they were last crawled, and when I started looking the blogs up, I noticed that all of their problems had been fixed.
You should go over to Technorati, and post a reply to this forum post, and maybe they will fix all of us.
Spread the word, I bet if we have a whole lot of replies, they will hurry up and straighten it out.
My blogs are being crawled by Technorati, I was simply offering advice, but I do hope they fix it for all of you who it isn't working for.
Sorry for the confusion, I looked up your blog in the directory and it said it hadn't been updated in 45 days, so I thought you were having the problem too.
Anyway, the forum post worked, they had it fixed this morning. My record was 634 days without a crawl.
Oh I understand, this blog simply hasnt crawled recently by Technorati because I don't regularly update it. My main blog is http://matt608.blogspot.com - Successful Online Money Making and the up and coming http://affiliatescamguide.com
Best of luck with your Technorati endavours.
Matt

I like CashCrate too, but with XSVCash you get 5 levels of referrals instead of just 2.
I think XSVCash may have more potential for making money through the referral system. I have more info regarding XSVCash and other ways to make money online on my website ZenAffiliate.com.
